Southern Harmony
A Southern Gospel Music Ministry
Southern Harmony - Our Music
Released:  January 2012

Southern Harmony's "He Chose the Nails" is another good mix of
original and familiar songs.  The title track was inspired by an
impassioned testimony one Easter Sunday by Ginny Jones.  Upon
hearing Bob's original composition, Ginny wrote a third verse which
was quickly incorporated into the song.

Earleene reprises some old favorites from her Bride of Christ days,
and it's all capped off by one of the most familiar and touching
songs from Ronny Hinson's pen, "When He Was on the Cross, I
Was on His Mind".

We trust and pray that the Holy Spirit uses the messages in these
songs to accomplish His purpose in the lives of the people who
hear them.

Southern Harmony is back with their second CD project "A Little
Bit of Country".

The title track was recorded in honor and memory of our good
friend Larry Daniels who went home to be with the Lord in January
of 2008.  Larry's song describes the kind of music we like to sing
and we are pleased to honor his memory by recording his song.

"Riding Home on Angels' Wings" is dedicated to the memory of
Jeff Johnson.  Jeff was the brother of Tony Johnson, bass singer
with the Sonshine Quartet.  Tony and his wife Laura have helped
Southern Harmony immensely by lending their voices to our
recordings and singing with us live whenever their schedule with
the Sonshine Quartet permits.

Inspired by The Kingsmen's "Apple Tree Song", Bob takes a crack
at a classic styled recitation with "The Puppy Dog Song" while
you'll want to clap and sing along with Earleene's rousing "Get
Ready to Go".

This project represents Southern Harmony at its best.  Order your

Southern Harmony's third project is the first one we produced
entirely in-house.  We hope you get as much of a blessing listening
to it as we did creating it.

This project contains the most original material of any project to
date.  Seven of the ten songs were composed by either Bob or
Earleene.

Bob's "Everybody Matters" tells the story of God's love for mankind
as seen through the eyes of a child, while Earleene's "Come Listen
Children" calls all who will hear to tune their ears to the Good News.

Believe it or not, the idea for "The Storm" came straight from one of
gospel music's all time greatest songwriters.  Ronny Hinson was
ministering on how sometimes it's God's plan to deliver us through
a storm rather than from it.  His observation that "I may be in the
storm, but the storm can't get in me", became the foundation for
Bob's first bluegrass-flavored composition.

It is Southern Harmony's sincere prayer that those who need the
Lord Jesus Christ in their lives will heed the message in their
invitation to "Come to the Cross".

If ever a song captures what should be in the heart and spirit of
every Christian, it's "Ready to Go Ready to Leave".  Earleene
actually wrote this song several years ago, but it's just as timely
today as the day it was written.

You'll surely enjoy Earleene's other compositions on this project,
"Sail Into That Shore", "Preacher Man", and "I Want to Go to
Heaven".

Bob's pen was equally busy also contributing four songs to the
project--"The Bridge", "Valentine to Jesus", " His Hands" and
"My Family Tree".

As always, Southern Harmony hopes you find the music pleasing
to your ear, but more importantly, we pray the gospel messages
contained in these songs minister to your heart.
